You just know that Spring is here when the week starts with a phone call @ 6:00am from the Post Office with the news that: "Your baby chicks are here"!
Already been to town, and have got the little guys settled in. Nature (and the PO) is amazing that they can get hatched and sent across the country in less than 24 hours.
Probably won't be much longer and this will be a thing of the past if their Avian Flu projections come true.

You know spiring is here when you listen to the morning news and find we are under a winter staorm warning from 9:00 tonight to 4:pm tomorrow with 5-8" of snow expected. :>o Last weekend it was tornadoes, this week it is snow, what is next????
But this is Illinois, if you don't like the weather, wait a day it will change

Another sure sign of spring, got up to 38 yesterday, went outside this AM and whew, that old black w/white stripe kitty kat woke up. Have fun with the chicks, or peepers as my wife calls them.
