Hi Forum First we have lost control in many areas and some would say great but is it. We see our elected officials (sp) doing northing but geting fat off of our losses. This is in responce to the the other oil post. Where are the anti- monopoly , and Trust laws we had? If I recall thanks to our leaders they were done away with. I say it was a Good thing back in the early 1900 and is something that maybe we need today. Oil is a game and played by some start people. I worked enough in the field to know that they know where and when to drill. The better investers get a chance to be in on the better areas. Allot of double driling and other games played. Oil and prices the average small oil well owner is not what I'm talking about. They may have a few to 20 wells. Oil companys don't pay what they say for oil is right. I looks at a web page posted on this sight. It is about the best way to say it. They get about half and maybe 75% of the price you see from the main market price. That would be a retail price , they get payed a wholesale price. Oil to fuel, here in the up Pa oil fields , like OH, PA , WV and NY . Our oil is mostly use for enghine oil, greese etc. Oils for the Mid East is Gasoline etc. Now there are a few areas around that are use and can be use for other things, so don't hold me to this, I'm making a point of how we are getting it. The oil is heated (warm) and goes through a couple of different tanks and other refining type things but basicly it is the same. Just one part for one thing, or type and the other is for like Gasoline. So guessing now ??? but take that 62.00 barrel and use say 40 gallon say they lost a little in the refining, From some oils in the world they get 90% (gasoline, heating oils) on the barrel, for fuels. So that would be 36 gallons at 1.80 on the market 65 dollars for a barrel they payed 62.00 for. The numbers don't add up, they only paid around 30-35 I bet or less. Oils is a huge mess for the averege person, we are getting it !!!!! ! you can use what ever adjective you would like. Gas price around 1.3 maybe low but 1.5- 1.6 is fair for all, not 2.5 - or 3.00 . And we all need to use it and they know it. The oil companys are looking at 5.00 a gallon in the next few years if they can get it, on the charts that is where it should be. Gas in the early 70's was ??? if you look at the way other things have gone up it should be at 5.00 and I say to that Beef should be 10.00/lbs and corn should be 7.50/ Bu. Wish I had answers, none here just needed to do some typing after reading yesterdays post. Have A Good One !! Teddy I plan on wright a few letters to a few elected people. For what good it will do. PS If I ran statement together or missspelled some thing you'll have to bare with me, I say there are two things I don't do well is swim and spell.
