Needed a way to shelter my tractor with no building. Tarp was a mess, so I went to junkyard and got 8' truck bedliner for $25. Flip it on top, strap it down, works great. (My exhaust pipe goes down, not up)

Went to arkansas auction and picked up sixteen 18ft metal trusses at 18.00 a peice. Welded some metal to them and covered with canvas. Made a pretty good shelter for about 350.00.

Hey, I think you live next door to me. All kinds of junk covering other junk. I would much prefer a big building that looks decent from the outside with a nice door so I don't have to look at it. I must say, an old bed liner upside down must be a beautiful sight. Any other great ideas? How about a few old wringer washers to cover up your lawn mower, etc?

all in time, am currently getting materials together for shed construction this summer. Bet you keep the balls the neighbor's kids hit into your yard.

Well, I just keep them for a week or so, but I always put a pin hole in footballs and soccer balls so they go flat before they can use them again. I'm a ton of fun to live next door to.

How about a tube frame tarp structure. probably get one for a single tractor for 50$ from the flea markets.. good to keep sun off and rain off.

If you do it that way, pay attention to the snow. Had one last year that got totally crunched (didn't watch the snow).

Yep.. kinda like watching the wind here in florida. There are certain times the tarp just has to come down... if you forget, mother nature takes it down for you..

Chuck,
Ya' ain't the only one to do that. I bought a used pick up last spring with a bed liner that had paint spilled all over it .... turned the bed liner upside down to cover my Wheel Horse GT-14 with front end loader. Why throw sumtin' away when ya' can use it???
