Was at menards over the weekend and they have a bunch of stuff on sale. They have a 4x8? foldable trailer for $188 that I am interested in. But I am concerned about the folding part affecting the strength of the trailer. It has a 1180 GVWR and a 900lb payload capacity. I would use this to haul older garden tractors around. Anybody have one of these? Opinions? Thanks. Mike

I have owned and used many of them. First off forget about the fold-up capability and bolt on a sheet of 3/4 x 4 x 8 plywood and it will be as rigid as you need it. Keep the tires aired up so they don't squat and you can pull them anywhere.....I hauled tons and tons of stuff with them and only had one blowout - that one was severely overloaded and running in 100+ heat in the desert.

I have one of the Harbor Freight versions, and it is not a bad rig, but if I were going to be using it seriously I would get a little heavier one as has been suggested.
