Does anyone have a Pic or tell me how the trash guards for the 44 plow attach to the plow? In the book they look like a 1/4" rod. I take it these will help cover corn stalks in the field when plowing. If I remember right I have seem the old timers have some #9 wire from the plow beams to help cover, but I have not a clue where to hang it from.

Thanks BUDD

If the stalks are in good shape, corn can plow under beautifully. If the stalks are all beat up, blown down, and tough it might be better try chopping them a few days before you plow, but it will still be a mess...

The bracket for the wire trash guard looks like it would attatch to the coulter. I have tried hanging wire everywhere, but it has never made a huge difference. Sooner or later, the share would cut it off.

The rod style looks a little more hopeful. They must go through an existing hole in the plow frame. I have never seen a set, much less tried them. I wonder where the guide attaches.
