I know some of you have to drive quite some distance to get parts. I have a tractor parts store that keeps alot on hand, and a JD dealer that needs to order most items. They are only about 15 miles from home. How far do some you drive for parts? Stan

Online shopping or a parts manual. Call to whatever dealer you choose. Credit card and UPS.

What else can you ask for.

Guess I am really lucky, I have a MF/Bobcat dealer in town, and the JD dealers, one 60 miles south and the other about 55 miles West. But, the dealer to the South has a second dealership and goes there twice a week, will deliver anything for me right to the farm, no extra charge. Great guy to do business with.

IH dealer is about 20 minutes away but almost everything has to be ordered and then you have to wait about a week for the parts to come in. John Deere dealer is over an hour away but he has most of the parts you need in stock.

As the crow flys dealers arn't that far away. Driving is different. To go to the JD dealership not including desk time is 2 hours, IH or NH is an hour. AGCO 2 hours. Valtra, Landini, Belarus, Kubota half hour. I have parts manuals for everything I work on and just call. I do business with parts suppliers all over the country.

Good morning Stan. I guess I lucked out. The Deere guy up in Union is just over 4 miles away. And the auto parts guy in town (Bristol) is just about the same I guess.

I live about 25 to 30 miles from two different New Holland dealers. But it might as well be a whole lot farther, since they almost always have to order any part for the old Fords I have and it takes a week or so to get them, and of course a second trip to the dealer. A fact of life...

25 miles south to get JD parts, the best part place in the same town closed down when the guy that owned it died. He was in his 70 and knew me by name sure hated to see him die got a lot of good info from him over the years. His son in law could have made a good go at it but didn't want to do the work. The next place I have to go is 40-50 miles from me an ARGO agi place wihcih isn't to bad but not all that good either. Then theres a place 50 mile form me not to bad but only has MF stuuf and a little others

I live in farming country, Case/IH 5 miles, JD next door the Case, Ford/NH about the same 5 miles. AGCO is farther away 30 miles. And I can go across the Columbia River into Washington and go 30 north to Tri-cities with all the major tractor dealers there.

I'm with Glenn in NE Wisconsin, just below him in Kaukauna. Farthest I drive is about 1/2 hour to Seymour (Tesch Bros. - Oliver parts) or Black Creek(salvage yard). About a 1/2 hour will get me to any color dealerhsip I need to go to, plus a pretty good bone yard. No need to ever order much from a catalouge or the net, but I have on occasion.

Case IH is 75 miles west, little inventory--order parts.

John Deere is 20 miles north. Kubota is 15 miles north. New Holland is 20 miles northwest. MF is 30 miles northwest. TSC is 60 miles north.

Only thing any closer is Walmart and Ace Hardware.....
