I made an offer on a Farmall B with a 4 1/2 foot woods mower, three years ago. and the Guy at the elevator told me he would take my offer. My wife thinks its a waste of money. I see a good use for it and want to buy. The engine is stuck but i have rebuilt them before.

Your wife"s right - now, if it had been an Allis B, she"d be wrong :)

Give her the checkbook and let her go buy her own mower to use in yard while you relax or go to the bar. lol.

My wife's favorite saying is.....

It is better to ask for forgiveness after, than to ask for permission before

WELL IF YOU GOT A GOOD ONE (TRACTOR OR WIFE )YOU BETTER HOLD ON TO IT . THEY DON'T MAKE THEM LIKE THEY USE TO .AND A GOOD ONE IS HARD TO REPLACE. MY WIFE SAYS I CAN NEAVER SELL MY "B" CAUSE SHE WAS MY FIRST.IF THE FUNDS COULD BE BETTER USED ELSE WHERE SHE MAY BE RIGHT. WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT SHE WILL AGREE,AND LET YOU GET A NEW TOY. HECK BUY HER A NEW CAR THEN SHE WILL YOU GET IT.

I think it's a matter of which you would prefer to have. Can you cook? Get the tractor!!

What you need to do is play the reverse role with her . Pack a couple bags of her clothes & set them by the door . Next tell her if she doesn't like the tractor idea , to take those bags & hit the bricks . Mine gave me that altimatum several times & I gave in to her whims . After 33 yrs & 3 tractors she finally packed up & left . Oh I love the single life . I can do what I want & when I want to . Good luck , Ken

Your little fairy tale sounds good but you and I both know there's a lot more to the story. Sounds like you got what you asked for, now go enjoy the weekend by yourself. Oh, I forgot .... you've got 8 girlfriends right?

Tell your wife you will be able to make money mowing for other people. It is too late now, but some times it is easier to get forgivness than it is to get permission. Stan

I've heard that forgivenes/permission line before. I'm not so sure! I bought a tandem trailer five months ago. I'm still waiting on the forgiveness! Glenn F.
