I'm wanting to plant some sort of food plot near one of the ponds for the wildlife. Particularly deer and quail.
Maybe about a quarter acre that can be irrigated from the pond. Any of you guys doing anything like this? Not intending to hunt over this just wanting to support the wildlife around the place.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Tommy

I put out a number of food plots every year. Conservation dept. in Missouri give out seed every year just for doing that. Most years its a mix of milo and soybeans. Some times some corn and also lepadeza. In this state you can even hunt these food plots. I'm tring to get my little dozer up and running just so I can clear a power line cut out so I can plant it in a food plot.
