I have an Oliver 60 that I need a water pump for. Serial # 603072 which makes it a 1941. Every place I have looked has come up empty on one. Any of you guys have any ideas of where to find a pump for this. Thanks

Good morning Old.

Try maybe your auto parts place. I'm in Bristol, IN. and try to do my shopping for most stuff from the little Mom and Pop places that have supported the communities long before thos huge chain store place came to exist, like my Bristol Auto Parts. Besides, these guys are nice and if don't have (rare) what I need, they get it. I do have a AC-B for mowing and little stuff, and they ordered one for me, and got it. Took me about a month because was back ordered, and I missed making it to town a couple of weekends (only time home).

Tell you what. I'll stop in up there later and get the manufacturer off of their water pump book, a website if is one - if your auto parts place don't sell the same brand, and take a look see for that '41 60. Maybe you can order it from the manufacturer direct if need be. Cost of my B water pump $104.00. Was a big, thick book, and bet so.

I tried the local auto parts store first. No luck can't even order it. This site and value you know bilt doesn't even have it. Then tried Korves and they didn't have it, but they gave me a number of a place that did have one, I ordered it yesterday, so now they may not have any. LOL

Old, ye of little faith. Tom (Bristol Auto Parts) didn't find it in his "Airtex" water pump book, Olivers only went back to '49. Nut he came up with a plan. Check it for a casting number, might be able to find it that way. I did a Google on "airtex water pumps" and came up with their website at "airtexproducts dot com", but didn't check the site out. Don't give up.

Tom or his wife, Barb might be able or willing to work with you, very nice people. 574/848-5195. Close at 5PM EST on Saturdays, and not sure during the week when I'm in Illinois instead of home in Bristol, IN. Real nice and helpful folks. Should be more like them.

As a matter of fact, offered to sell me a Farmall H and John Deere A sometime back. Wish I'd had the money at the time. They're pictured here under tractor photos. Both were nice, very nice. And they're gone.

If you have the old pump maybe it could be rebuilt
Try www.rctractorwaterpumps.com You may have to
call or email to get the info. I"ve never had any
dealings with them but a friend had one done over
and was pleased.
