I have been featured in it several times so I always got it free for several years since was a contest winner. If you enjoy creating things them yea you would enjoy it. Has quite a variety of ideas, some are really nice items and some are really crude but that makes life interesting doesn't it. It does have more items in it now thou that are done by major companies, didn't use to have that thou.

My neighbor and I take turns subscribing to Farm Show. Many good ideas and many very off the wall ideas. Kind of like a "Red Green" handbook. Like seating the bead on a tractor tire with starting fluid and a fire on a long stick.

I have been getting it for about 10 years and really enjoy most of it. After the 1st year it will cost you about $19.95 though.

It"s the best farm magazine I ever had. Had it for 15 or 20 years now. I think I will have it as long as I can read. It"s for the guy that likes to fix and build stuff.

Been a subscriber for many years. Some really off the wall ideas that some people have made work.My all time favorite has to be the guy in Texas? that turned several car rearends down, attached blades to the oinion shafts, hooked them all together(11 I think? maybe more,I forget)and then pulled them up to 70 miles per hour to clip his pastures.I'll bet the corners were pure h-e double ell.lol.
Lots and lots of great ideas in the magazine that are very useful.Ideas that can be put to good use.
Readers telling it like it is column makes the price worthwhile alone.I got a much deserved refund on a seed corn order that was screwed up from the start. The company quickly came across with a proper settlement, once they saw their name in the paper. If it hadn't been for Farm Show Magazine,I would just been out several hundred dollars and no seed either.

It is worth the price. It's not allways full of great things or things you'll be interested in, but even if you only learn one thing that saves you a few hundred dollars, or saves you some time, its worth the small price.

Make sure you tell them to not sell or rent, etc, etc, your name and address. Also, keep track of the issues you get and dont re-up your subscription everytime a notice comes to you.

Again, its no different than anything else, you have to sort through the uninteresting stuff to get to what you need.

I like the farm show mag. I'm glad I subscribed.

Get it! Very interesting things in there - lots of nifty ideas. If you like to "engineer" things yourself, then you will enjoy it.

If you repeat yourself repeat yourself repeat yourself repeat yourself repeat yourself repeat yourself you might like it. But if you are a single guy with internet and things to do it might go in the trash unread.

Quite an interesting magazine. It showes the creative nature of farmers both the good the bad and the ugly. Do not know that it is always worth geting though.

Pretty much ditto to what JT said. Lots of cool stuff and projects, magazine is "cheap at twice the price".

Love it. Been getting it for some time now, and have the CD"s and the only downside is it only comes 6 times a year. It gets read cover to cover, then stacked for later reference. Have purchased several items advertised in it. If I was to rate it I would call it a farmer"s "Plowboy". Harley
