Massey-Ferguson fluids where they go

I have an old massey ferguson that my dad used. My dad is no longer able to help me and I need to know what fluids it needs and where to put the fluids. There is one cap that looks like oil & it is right above/next to the engine (I am assuming it is oil but don't know what kind to put in) and there is another cap right by the seat and when I took that off I can see gears and things. It is a large space and it is empty. What goes in there? Where does the hydrolic fluid go? I followed the lines and can't find anywhere to put fluid in for the hydrolics.

The tractor will run, but only for a few minutes before it stalls. I don't want to hurt the engine and can't find anyone that knows what fluids to put in and where the fluids go. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Holly

Holly, Do you know the model number of the tractor? Normally you should see this on the side of the hood above the engine. For instance my Massey Ferguson says 135 on the side of the hood. That would help anyone point you in the right direction. Also, once you have identified the model number you can purchase an owner's manual for the tractor (your dad may even have one somewhere). That manual would help you tremendously with the questions that you have. Let us know what you find out. Tim
