I've got way too many rattlesnakes around my place so I'm gonna start cleaning up some of these hiding places and see if I can't reduce the number of unwanted visits to the house and shop. Project #1 is the large metal junk pile which has an old 2 row front end cultivator. This was on the JD730 I bought about thirteen years ago. If anyone has a use for it I will be glad to load it up and let you haul it off. Otherwise it is of little value to me and either going to be cut into scrap or buried. I'm located in Scurry County Texas.

We are also in the process of cleaning up junk piles around the place. Last summer we had the iron man haul away around 17 ton of iron. It brought around 75.00 a ton. It was good heavy stuff I thought it would have brought more, but the main thing is, It's gone. We don't have many snakes any more. I do see a couple of rattlesnakes every year while doing my discing and mowing business. Stan in calif

hauled off a little over a ton of old iron, tin, barbed wire just old junk and snake pit. They paid $80 a ton for that junk. But, what was sad to see while I was there was a Farmall H and a and a old 46T baler in the pile. I'll bet someone could have used the parts of those old machines.

Tom,

Where is Scurry County? Is it in the Panhandle?
