Howdy,

Well, I can't believe I'm askin this but I found something out there that's been buggin me for two days now. I have always wanted a John Deere GP and I would still like to find one someday. The point is I don't own one yet. But, I found a fella that has a set of 3 row cultivators for one. The dilema is whether or not to buy them since I don't even own the tractor yet that they would fit on. I know it sounds funny but to those who are familiar with these machines you know how rare a set of cultivators like this are. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. God bless.

You didn't mention how much $$ I think this would also matter. I don't think I'd spend alot on implements they usually don't sell very well.

GP's still are a bargin compared to the other Deeres. You should be able to get a nice one reasonable.

If you buy the cultivators you will be motivated and then you will find a GP.

I can`t imagine you are going to run into all that many sets. I think you better get them while you can. If you deside at some point, you don`t need them or are never going to get a tractor to put them on, somebody else is sure to want them.

I cannot speak to how rare such cultivators are, but if you are 100% sure you will one day buy a GP, and you want to use cultivators with it, then I"d go for it. A bird in the hand, as they say. If you pass on these now, later on when you buy your GP, you"ll be sorry you didn"t buy them. If you don"t buy a GP, you can always resell them.

If you have the money buy it.They make good yard ornaments until you get the tractor.
