There was decent sized crowd there considering the weather, had two acutioneers workin at once. Farmall C with no attachments brought $1k
Farmall 200 with cultivators (and in better shape than the C in my opinion) brought $1k
Farmall 140 with cultivators went over $1k but I don't know how high.

How much of it followed you home!

I wanted to go but the roads were treacherous. People can say what they want about me, but I'm not paying big dollars for a cultivating tractor. I have had too many reports of them selling for $900-$1400 at the auctions...a pal of mine told me he saw a 140 that was straight as a string go for $1200. Just look at the photo ads right here and you'll see more than one of these Farmalls for sale...they're out there now that the tobacco program has collapsed. I just won't bend over and be raped by some hustler. If you know when the next sale is going to be, let me know and i'll be there.

All that went back to Scott County was an implement trailer. Yeah since the smaller people have gotten out of raising tobacco there is a lot of machinery floating around. There were at least five setters there, most were carousel units.
