As some of you might know, I am a photographer for Kent State University and a frequent visitor to this page.

I'm involved in a project in which Kent State is sending 500 people down over spring break to help clean and rebuild the city of Biloxi, which was devistated by Hurricane Katrina. Much of the attention has gone to New Orleans, but Biloxi was also nearly wiped out. I'm going as a carpenter, photographer and professor to some photography students going down to document .

CJ,

Since this isn't the Politics board, I'll be brief. I grew up on the Boettler farm just north of Kent on Route 43. It's now a golf course. Kent State has always been a hotbed of anti-American, radical leftists. I commend you and the students who are going to be involved in this project. It is not typical of KSU's history.

People need help from Pensacola,Fla all the way across Alabama into Texas the way the storm moved.I have been waiting for vacation time to go with our church to help rebuild. It does not cost the people anything to get a new home.I have been to KENTUCKY,WEST VIRGINIA OHIO,NORTH CAROLINA & SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA to help rebuild homes for people that were hit by flood or storm.Hope to get to Alabama soon we have a group somewhere down there now.

Thank you for going to Biloxi to help. Thanks to the media, we have been lead to believe that nothing outside of New Orleans was damaged or destroyed.
