Elmer or Barry - I have 3 point problems

Hi Guys,

My db 990 diesel 3 point won't lower either. I read Barry's message and will check it out. My push rod guide (behind the control levers) is broken inside the casing and the push rod spring and clip keep falling off. Where could I get a good pushrod guide and pushrod with spring and clip?

I looked in at the RH 2 screw cover plate and the oil only oozs from the end of the valve spool when I try to lower it. It won't move.

The flexible control cable has a twisted strand, but still works somewhat freely. Could that be a problem too? My draft control lever is broken off, but I didn't think that would prevent it from working.

Finally, the control levers don't hold in place and it appears the amount of movement is very, very small compared to a ford 8N.

Thanks,
mark

Hey Tooltime, my 880 had the same problem when I got it. I ordered the parts from my local Case dealer, the little rod was not cheap, like $60, but the rest was O.K. I also bought the little brass bushing it rides in, the spring and the clip. It was kind of a pain to change as mine was jammed into the hole it goes into. Took a couple hours to change.
