I recently acquired a Hough HAH with a Wakesha FC-253-C replacement engine.
As far as information I have tracked down on the web; the plugs are Champion 516 (replaces D16) with a .025 gap, and the point gap is .018. Okay so far??? What I need to know is the timing spec and most importantly, where in Heck is the timing mark located??? Hydraulic oil is SAE-10. Any ideas on the engine oil weight? Thanks in advance folks.

Forgot to add to ealier post: (1) search archives here and fol'g sites for Waukesha FC, you'll turn up other FC owners (2) also try posting to enginads.com and yesterdaystruck.com (don't know if FC used in any trucks but other Wauks were, and may turn up someone with FC info) LOL

Have an FC parts book (but of course can't lay my hands on it)..my 50 Motor truck & Tractor sez FC is 31/4x4, firing order 1342, point gap .020 (but God only knows how many FC variations produced) (difference between .018 and .020 shouldn't even be noticeable unless this engine particularly sensitive) sez "all (Wauk) engines:timing mark on flywheel..." and refers to "indicator pointer"...look for small hole on front of flywheel housing. Local lib should have copy (Wauk section very basic) will look for parts book. LOL
