Today, I was looking at a 2003 Kawasaki Prairie. It is a 300 cc with 4x4. Its a automatic. It is in exellent shape. It has 700 miles on it. There doesn't appear to be a scratch on it. It is said by the owner to have all the options availiable from the factory. It is offered by private seller who has a bad back and it is too rough for him to ride it anymore. What are they worth now? The man said that $2500 would take it home. Does anybody have any information on them. How do any of you like them? Thanks for your input!

Kurt,
I bought a 2003 Kawasaki Priaire 360 4X4 about four months ago. I've got the warn winch on mine as well. During deer hunting this past December, I had to use my winch once. Use it once, and you'll be glad you have it! Congrats on your new toy. Let me know how it does when you get some time on it, I'm really liking mine so far!

I just checked on NADA And in our area the avg. price would be 2535.00 but i think it is a 2002 the book don't show a 300 CC in 2003. Don

Better go get it before someone else does. That's a good price, considerably less than what a new one will cost you.

If it's in the shape you say it is, buy it! That's a good deal.

The prarie 300 is a good but it is a full time 4x4. I would double check the year. I don't think the 300 was made after 2002 but I am not sure.

That seems like a pretty good price for one that is well taken care of.

I just bough a couple today from an older guy who had bought them for him and his wife a year ago and they weren't riding them much and he is starting to have medical problems.

Probably paid too much but got them both for $6,250 with a nice little trailer to haul them with. They are both Suzuki 250cc 2 wheel drives. The utility type one was ridden so little it still has the colored stripes on the tires. The sporty type one has all kinds of extras and is still nearly new as well. (Even heated grips! ;-) )

Here's a pic:

I'm really happy with them so far, I've had them about 4 hours! ;-)

I like them so much I have 2. One for the Mrs. and one for me. I have the 400 2wd. I bought a winch for it and have never been stuck.

$2500 is a fair price. Try to start it with the pull rope, it should start first pull or at least mine do.

I am looking for some others for my teenage punks er, sons :)

The automatic is very nice and low geared enough to haul nearly anything.

Check ebay for pricing in your area.
