Gosh, Allan, here in North Iowa, that's a teaser snow. Makes us think about maybe digging out the shovels and the snow blower - oh yeah, we'd at least look at the loader to see if it's ready to mount on the old tractor, too. We had about 10-12" on the ground just before Christmas but now there's nothing. Weirdest warm January I ever recall! warmest on record they say.
Enjoy the white!

Come on Allen. When I was a kid, that wasn't enough snow to convince my momma to let us kids wear our shoes to school that day! Send us a picture when you can't see out the windows of the house. Until then, keep working on that old bailer. I am waiting to see how it turns out.

Shoot that just looks like a dusting of the white stuff. Back when I lived you your way I remember that a real snow was at least 2 foot and they would say that was just a dusting. Guess we just don't get them type of snows no more

Ah, so that's where it all went. You have to start sending some up northward. Up here in Central Alberta, it's almost all brown. What's a January up here without -30 C and 2 feet of snow?! Sure a funny winter up here. Makes it awful tough to burn a barn down without a little snow for safety. :-(

At least I can still hunt around the country for more iron! ;-)

Allan

We've had really warm weather up here up until a week ago, not warm enough to melt anything though. Probably 2 to 3 feet of snow on the ground wherever you look. It's been fun to watch you work on your baler, 'cause I'm about half done the hay feeding end of the cycle as opposed to getting ready for the hay making part. I was looking at your last post below. It wouldn't be too late to run some short beads of weld along the backside where the tailgaate meets the main frame. That should keep everything in place for sure

John

I hired a book keeper to figure up my income.

She's complaining that she has nothing to do. :>(
