Anyone know if Tekonasha or any of them make a unit that automatically adjusts/re-ajusts the brakes? Mine seems to need re-adjusting pretty often especially in damp weather. Its a hassle once your on the road to see the brakes locking up or feel it pushing hard.

Well you confirm my suspicion that the controller is the culprit, I have 3 trailers with brakes and it has happened on all of them. From things read here and people I have talked to the brand is good, must be mine is wore out. Thsnks. Bob

If you mean adjusting the brake controler mounted on the dash, I thought most all of them had a knob to set sensitivity on the controler.

Look the controler over good and I bet you will find a knob to set the tension on the brakes.

Maybe I'm not following your question.

My error; I worded it badly. I do have the balance and intensity (correct word) adjustments. And with that adjusted as I drive out to the road, 1 1/2 mile, warming the brakes and adjusting per instructions, then within a few miles and/or several road hours the brakes will sometimes lock up or start pushing as if they are not adjusted correct. It is not an always thing, mostly in high humiddity. Bob

That is not right.
Either you have a bad controler or you have a short somewhere.

Do you have a good ground to the controler and the trailer.

Do you have more than one trailer and do they have the same problem or if you put your trailer on another truck does it still do it.

If other trailers on you truck do it its the controler.

If your trailer does it on another truck I'd say its the trailer.

Just my thoughts. Gary
