Can anybody tell me if an M engine will bolt to the bell housing on an h? If so which clutch do i have to use?thanks...

your only choice is to get a 350 block, with some elbow grease it can be made to fit in an H but please before you put an engine in it think about whether a H clutch will put up with extra HP. you might want to find a stonger clutch.

Ask your clutch question on the Pulling Board....those guys have done it all....the 350 engine is the way to go.....

Alot of differences between an H and an M, the castings are all bigger, the frame rails are 2" wider, the whole engine is bigger, the radiator is bigger, etc.. on an M. No an M motor will not bolt up to an H, they are very different tractors.
