What do you all know and think of this tractor? I have been doing some research and it is made by a company called Iseki out of Japan. Has anyone had ANY experiance with these machines? The one I have found is a 4X4 tractor i.e. it has four wheel drive. I am considering it, I seems to have EVERYTHING I want on it just about. I think I would RATHER have an Oliver 1850 four wheel drive with the Perkins 354 but I can NOT seem to find one.

Any way, what are your thoughts and experiances with these machines? I saw one for $9000.00 that had 5200 hours on it, a 1987 model....

ANOTHER THING TO THINK ABOUT when u are acomparing this to either the 4020 or the big oliver
this being a late 80's model technology came a long way from the early '70s - yes every bolt is metric - but there are probably hundreds of other things that are better - the push in type iso breakaway hydraulic couplers are the first one i can think of - dual spped PTO (u have a 3 minute shaft swap to do - lots of things

Well the only REASO I like the Oliver 1850 MORe is because it is cheaper.....What kind of reliabilty problems do the white 2-75/Iseki T900 have?

The WHOLE reason for looking at an odd ball machine like this is because it has 4 wheel drive, and it has a nice big 6 cylinder engine, and only weighs 6300 lbs, and has a syncro shift tranny. Other wise I would get a JD 4020 with diff locking. Cause I know SO much about the JD 4020..

I would buy it. I absolutely love our Iseki in our 2-62. Tough little loader tractor. I have been looking for a 2-75 for a long time but I think most people know what they are worth. Those old olivers dont compare even though they were great tractors.

I paid like $10600 for mine with the westendorf quick tach loader and bucket system (a great loader combo) like 6 or so years ago

i don't think i would sell it for less than atleast $15000 - and when i go shopping the nearest I find are all higher than that

I personally don't see how you can compare the 2 tractors due to size and age. Selection should depend on your needs..... ....
Iseki has made many tractors for many companies including themselves.....

I have one - I like it a lot - of course I have to get it out of the repair shop this weekend.....

the good - it has a lot of gears and can go real slow - both forward and reverse
it has differential lock and mine also is MFWD - a great loader tractor glow plugs make it start real good - plug it in for a couple hours and it starts like summer - pretty good fuel economy (i think anyway) - the PTO has a reverse - when the round baler plugs I can put the PTO in reverse and just back up a ways and clear the plug.....
mine even has an option of an extra set of hydraulic remotes - so I have triple hydraulics - can run an implement and not disconnect anything on the loader

the bad - parts are expensive (what aren't) - but i have gotten everything at my local agco dealer - i found i can get oil filters much cheaper at a local auto parts store - that is really all i have bought for mine - in 6 years or so of owning it - for light duty loader stuff, snow removal, and tiny amount of haying and spraying in summer....
top speed is about 14 mph - not a road racer..

mine had a bizarre PTO problem - it would quit just out of the blue after using it al lday then u couldn't use it again until the whole tractor cooled off - they had to split it to fix it- a couple of steel retaining seals were shot and broke - that was it - had them put a clutch in at the same time - mine has 4600 hours right now - i think mine is a '88

comments - the isuzu diese li have heard from several is good - a lot of delivery vehicles like UPS vans and bread trucks use them...also now a lot of irrigation engines have started using them
