Hi Miles,

New Idea was a unique company. They built several different harvesting, utility, and chore machines.
Their claim to start fame is the idea of the widespread for a spreader to make chores simpler for boys missing school. Invented by a school teacher named Joe Oppenheim.
Balers, rakes, mowers, loaders, pickers, spreaders, wagons, motor driven items, engines, disks, feeding equipment, plus more...
I am part of the New Idea historic preservation club. There are a few of us around that are preserving the old orange and green. I am working on a website. We are based out of Coldwater, Ohio, west central part of the state.
If you have questions, drop me a line.
