I have just been feeling down I guess. Weathers to cold out to do much of any thing, plus I just got older then other day which doesn't help any more. Yes I will hang in there/here and just keep on keeping on. Guess some times you have to here from others that you do make a differance and still can help others out. THANKS I needed what you guys said

Hey Richard, Sounds like you've gotten some good advise.. Hang in there buddy,it'll get better..Like some of the others have said, sometimes it's nice just to change gears so to speak,I get tired of messin with the tractors sometimes, but pretty much feel lost without a wrench in my hand,so I'll find something else to mess with for a little while..Usually by the time I get that fixed,I'm ready for the tractors again..LOL

Take care,

Tim

Old,

I just saw you post from yesterday. As others have said, I think a man has to have a hobby and maybe it is time for you to try another for a while. Myself - I am still planning on building a simple, small wooden boat before I die! But I can also see that picking up a new hobby isn't necessarily the easiest thing in the world. After all, how many years of working on old iron does it take before it really gets comfortable?

What ever you end up doing or not doing with tractors anymore, don't stay away from the YT bulletin boards. You add oodles of knowledge to this board and it is full of great people, and you know you'd miss it as much as we would miss you!

This place isn't just about tractors!

We have had 22 minutes of sunshine from Dec 22(my birthday) till Friday Jan 6. Everyone here is depressed. My swmbo said she read an article suggesting the lights be left on during the day. (supposed to help) Anyway, I have noticed you have helped many people unselfishly. One might not feel that they have anything to offer, but all the input seen in this forum is a help to many people that have not even posted a question. I have learned many things here while getting an education on John Deere B"s. Cheer up, and like the Case Lady said, (and I have to keep reminding myself often) we need to be thankful for what God has blessed us with. John L.

If you're looking for another job, we might have one for you. My Wife's niece from down there (Springfield) emailed today about their cows getting rustled. They probably could use someone that can draw a good bead!

See thats sort of my problem, I can't work a full time job any more because of back and other problems. But I do play out on the farm with the old tractors. So some times I just plain feel worthless any more. Plus this year I missed more deer when I went hunting then I hit. If I had hit every one I shoot at I would need another freezer. LOL

You"ve helped me out on my Oliver questions that I had and there will be more I"m sure. Just hang in there the weather will change soon I hope. I"m the sameway - me and cold weather don"t get alone to good also. Mike

Yeppers Rich, you better keep hanging around, cause how am I going go to other forums and have you pop up and answer my question. Your absense would be felt clear across the website.

Also I am going to need lots of advice on the Oliver, might just show up at your doorstep with trailer in hand ready to load the Super 88, gotta beat Case Lady to it.:>):>)

Keep on being there for others, no greater gift one can give, than their knowledge and expertise, other than "themselves". And you have shared all with whom ever ask....Keep up the great work!!1

Keith & Shawn

sometimes you have to step back and take a look at what God has blessed you with and he has blessed this board with you through your knowledge and wisdom and your willingness to share same. There are several of you here that are so helpful and so knowledgeable about such a vast number of things. It is great knowing that if I have something that I am struggling with, all I have to do is ask here and someone (lots of someones, usually) will have an answer. Please don't leave us, we need you.
