Hey all

This is slightly O/T since I'm talking about a truck not a tractor but bang on topic partly since I use my truck on the farm and to haul tractors and tractor parts :)

Anyways, I'm trying to hook a tach up to my 1995 4.9 Ford F-150... and having alot of trouble n hooking it up.

I can't figure where the tach signal wire goes, the maunal I have is sort of vague, it says it goes "into the receptacle" but where it shows on my truck theres like 5 different ports it couild go into.

Does anyone have a btter idea where it might go?

Thanks inadvance

pawel

It connects at the coil, on the terminal that goes to the distributor. It should have tach or something like that printed on it. It may have a terminal provided for it.
