We had an old Farmall B that was stuck for several years. We pulled the plugs and dumped a bottle of Coca-Cola in each cylinder. We let it sit for about a week. We then pulled it with a log chain, and gently released the clutch in fourth gear. It turned over and shot Coke out the muffler. I would have never guessed it would work, but an old IH mechanic told us to try it! We put new plugs in it and ran the tractor for about eight years. It's now in the shop getting a total overhaul, as it had started to smoke.
Anybody else have this experience?

I have never had any luck useing PB. But what has always worked for me is tranny fluid and or turpentine. You can refill the cylinders with turpentine, not paint thinner but to good old true turpentine. I have an H farmall and a B JD that where bopth stuck for 15 plus years and both of them now run and I never opened up the engines on them. Also how are you tring to turn the engine over?? If your tring by hand forget that and hook up a 12 volt battery and just hit the starter with fast short taps of the starter.

I'll second the uselessness of the PB Blaster.

Little more than colored water and not worth the can it is shipped in.

So Allan what do you use?? Have you ever tried tranny fluid like I like to use?? So far I have found tranny fluid works better then any thing else you can buy.
