i know its not a tractor but it helps me get around to buy more any ways heres my problem the fromt axle is now not attached to anything after hitting a large bump it is pretty rusty but my problem is i dont know what the parts i need are called so i have come to you guys and girls for help descriptions of them are the brackets that hold the front shocks and coil springs in place but they also connect to the arms that keep the axle from comeing back and hitting the fenders so i would like to know what the arms are called and the bracket because all yall are much more understanding than the parts store

I believe that they are called the upper and lower radius arms.
Any good junk yard er ah auto recycling center will have em.

I don't know the names and a manual will help there.
Suggest doing a net search for Jeep parts. I did and there are several sites, once you get some prices ask locally the difference may not be worth the ordering.

ok ill go pick up a manual i should have thought of that before its the first place i look for tractor parts why not my truck its got a soild fromt axle yea its a strut i tend to interchange the two words

Not really a jeep person but you can always pull tire off the other side to see what it should look like. Does the Comanche use a-arms? Seems like you should have at least one A-arm and maybe your shock is really a strut (A combination shock absorber/coil spring assembly that typically is bolted throught the fender well and into the engine compartment. Do you have access to a Haynes or Chilton manual? The parts house should be able to show you an exploded drawing of the front suspension and let you point at what you need (don't have now). Like I said, I'm not a Jeep person so I could be way off on this. Good Luck.
