I have a New Holland tc30 that has 307 hrs on it and it will not start, it acts like the battery is run down but the battery is fine. I tried to jump it off with my truck, but still it clicks like the battery is low, the first fuse wire that hooks to the starter burnt into and I replaced it with a new fuse wire. I have tried cleaning the ground cable that hooks to the frame of the tractor and still no change, I have cleaned the battery poles too. Everytime I try to crank the tractor the fuse wire gets hot. If this tractor is giveing me this kind of trouble with just 307 hrs, I sure hate to see the trouble when it gets past 1000 hrs, all my family has ran is John Deere for years and years with no more than belt changes and oil changes when we turned the key they always started. I guess iv screwed up big time fooling with a New Holland, if someone could help me I would be very grateful.

Usually the starter circuit is not fused but some of the other circuits are fused. I don't think your problem is in the battery or the starter circuit. It's in the "other' circuits. Follow the wiring and look for a shorted wire. Get a hold of a wiring diagram.it'll be a big help. At 307 I can believe you aren't under warranty with this machine.
