What kind of engine? Basic retightening is run engine until warm, work it a bit, then let it cool down, retighten head bolts in order of installing or start from center of head and alternate retorque bolts outward. Is this a rebuild? New head gasket on old head? note that valves will probably need lash adjusted also. Manuals for engine may have specific pattern to follow and may require warm instead of cold torque settings. RN
