The other day I was buying some parts for my '46 JD A and the guy started talking about the Essex Quad-Directional (EQT) which he said was an up-graded ETD and built in Calgary, Alberta. He didn't know more then that. Anybody know anything about an EQD? I've never heard of one.

What the heck has happened to Wayne, figured he would be saying that the "Henway" was better than EQT or ETD. :-):-)

Wayne must be snowed in up there in snowman country.

We demo-ed one of them EQDs a few years back when we was pineapple farming here. Nice machine but never did get a price outta the dealer who disappeared with his female Russian shop forman (or is it shop person?) They was later spotted down in the Cayman Islands running a Starbucks.

Nope, it's way too warm for 'em. You might try bananas thought. I hear Gimpleg Fagon is doin' pretty good with them bananas around Coffeyville, Kansas.

I seem to remember an episode of Star Trek where Scotty and Kirk were talking about the EQD. Scotty was insisting that the 4 dimension was time. It would be a handy feature since with the right attachments you could plant your crops and harvest them at the same time.

I'm not quite sure of the year, but R&D, and later, production, were moved to Saskatoon.

I think I saw them working on one at the Possum Lodge on TV. That Red Green fella was having a hard time keeping Bill from breaking the flux capacitor. Bill kept trying to adjust it with a ball-peen hammer.

Do not worry they will/are did. But TA on an EQD stands /stood for Transdimensional Amplifier. You may/won't/will not to engage it!
