I have a IHC F-20 and you cannot get spark. How do I test the Magneto? Is there something else I should do?

I agree with cleaning the points well also. If it's the IHC mag I posted a link to the service manual for you. Clean the distributor disc the brushes run on with a eraser. Use new non resistor spark plugs and metallic core wire and not the carbon core type. May need to clean out the impulse and oil it also if doesn't have a nice snap when spring trip realeases spinning the mag over faster for starting.

Some times the horseshoe magnets in these old magnetos lose their magnetisim and have to be recharged. If the other suggestions don't work, you may want to check this also

Nebraska Cowman is sending you down the right road. Over a period of time the contacts on a set of points become corroded and the best way I have found to clean them is to use either rubbing alcohol or a can of Brake-Clean soaked on a clean paper sack.
If you have an ohm meter or test light you can confirm continuity through the contacts.
Hope this helps.

Check the points first. dirty points is by far and away the biggest culprit
