Hello...I"m helping the farmer down the road swap dump boxes from one truck to another. There seems to be a long pin in the back that helps hold the dump box on the Diamond Reo, but we can"t seem to find how it comes out of there. There doesn"t seem to be anything on either end holding it in there, just the weight of the box itself. We could use some suggestions. Also, if anyone needs a Diamond Reo (that runs) CHEAP when we have the boxes changed just holler. Thanks again for any help.

Its probably got a pin someplace on it that holds to long pin in. I've built a few dump trucks in my day and all of them have had them and can be fun to find. What engine is in that Diamond?? I need and engine for my Diamond-T , also where are you at and whats cheap??

Well Old, it's up here in West Branch, MI. I guess "cheap" is really up to the farmer who has it, but I think it's really cheap. He bought it just to swap out the dump box with another truck he has, and plans to just get rid of it when that's done. If you're really interested I can find out what you'd like about it, or e-mail you the fella's phone number.
Thanks, Old.

Old, I'll find out what I can and e-mail you about it tomorrow when I talk to the farmer who has it.

I think a Diamond Reo would fit in beautifully with all my other eclectic junk. Put a Cummins in it, and just have fun with it. Just how far "down the road" are you, and from where?
