DeerelyDeparted.com sells Kroil penetrating oil. $10.50 for a 13 oz. aerosol can (plus shipping). For that price I can settle for PB at $3.49. What are your thoughts? Worth the money?

Kroil creeps into a space 1 millionth of an inch wide. I have NEVER used anything that worked as fast or as good. Just try it, you will see.

Well, the power plants that I often work in use Kroil, and that"s where I got my start. Is good stuff. If you could see how stuff gets cooked around turbins, corroded from river cooling water, and rusted out by coal, you"d see that it don"t come apart easily. Kroil is good stuff, in my opinion.

To me Kroil is worth 10 times that. I have had good luck with Deep Creap by Sea Foam. I also have had similar luck with a product called Mouse Milk. Never tried the tranny/brake fluid combo, but I will try anything once. Tried PB once, it worked so good, we refer to is as Peanut Butter.

go to there web site (Kanolabs.com) and try out a can. I have used lots of others also and have always came back to it. I use the silkkroil product 16.5oz cans. used oil also will work but in some places the little tip and spray pressure gets it wher it needs to be better

Dam! That girlfriend of yours has got your resorting to the cheap stuff! CENPECO, hands down has the best penetration oil there is. But its expensive. 50/50 brake fluid and tranny fluid will do some major damage.

50-50 brake fluid and tranny fluid will do damage? What damage? Guaranteed brake fluid will mess up a paint job, but if you are dealing with rusted parts, why are you concerned about the paint?

We have been using Kroil oil for years. The company I work for buys it by the drum. (55 gallons) We have tried everything on the market. Time and time again, Kroil oil gets the job done. Made with pine oil and ?. I have yet to see anything it will not free up. Good luck on what ever you choose.

Charles

My self I have given up on the other stuff, don't even use PB any more. When I need to use something I just use tranny fluid. And at about $1 a quart its hard to beat and works just as good as that 3 buck stuff and for 1/3 the cost.

That"s interesting, I went in to an old surplus place this past summer and this guy had tons of military surplus stuff. One item was spray cans of ATF. He was selling it for a dollar a can or $.75 if you bought a case. It has all the Military jargon, spec #s and so on. What it was used for, I have no idea. Anyway, it looks like ATF, it smells like ATF, so it must be ATF!? The next time I get over near that place I"m gonna buy a case.

absolutly the best money can buy. absolutly worth it. kroil costs mre but workes 100000 0000 times better esp in a hurry. (it is best) but you dont have to wait for kroil to work very long and make 3 days worth of applications. i swear by kroil. living in salt country i can attest to it working. wd 40 is worthless. bolt buster is nothing more then thinned down diesel fuel (a light oil). kroils site itself has an offer to try kroil out. if you dont like it send it back and refund your money its definily worth it.

I have tried just about every brand of snake oil there is and in some applications all of them will do a good job, and in other applications none of them will even begin to work. The least expensive product you can buy is every bit as good as the most expensive. Brake fluid and Tranny fluid mixed 50-50 work equally well.

Well I have never used kroil before. But I use PB blaster all the time and works great for the money but I don't think it is as strong as some others. In a nut shell It works but you may have to use more of it and wait a little longer. I usually spray it on and give the bolt a few good raps with a hammer and let it set for a while. then spray it again. If It doesn't come lose after that I get the torch out and apply a little heat. Thats normally when it breaks loose. Hope this helps. Mike.

I've had good luck with motor oil cut with gasoline in an old oil can. Gas carries the oil into tight rusty spots. Gas evaporates leaving oil behind.
