How replace fan belt Case 580B

Friend has a 580B case back hoe and he broke the fan belt. Went to look at it but not sure how to get to the hyd pump to pull it forward to be able to replace the fan belt. Any body know how to do this and what might neeed to be removed to do so?? Thanks

Old, I found this site a while back but I haven"t ordered from them yet. These belts can really be a help. I remember Dad having them on several pieces of equipt. HTH jf

Had to replace one on our 580b, not an easy project. The coupler would not slide on the shaft so had to loosen the bolts that hold the pump and pull it out. Would be much quicker and easy if coupler is not stuck.

If it's like some of the others, unbolt the pump drive coupler and slide one, or both halves apart and up on to it's, or their shaft(s).

It leaves just barely enough room to squeeze a belt through there.
