I'm looking at a CBT 2600 Tractor with a 6 cyl Mercedes diesel. Runs perfect, no major leaks, 650 hours on hourmeter, looks good. dual wheels, wheel weights front & rear. Can anyone tell me more about this tractor and its value.
Thanks,
Tom

If itīs a Brazilian CBT, they are pretty basic. Getting parts for the engine shouldnīt be a big problem, but parts for the rest of the tractor could be a real headache.

It is Brazilian-CBT 2600
I don't have a picture yet because I have'nt bought it yet. It is really big and I don't need a tractor that big. The owner wants to trade me for my boat and give me $1000. I am considering the deal but wanted to know more about the tractor. The tractor has six speeds forward, two reverse and runs great and very smooth-no clunking etc.-kinda like a sewing machine. It only has 642 original hours and its only use was on a horse farm to drag the racing track. I really like it, but don't know what I would use it for other than to try to make a little money on it to spend on my Ford 4000. Any idea as to its value?
Thanks,
Tom

Tom,
Where are you located (state)?
I did know where there was a 2500 in a parts yard. That tractor should be the same as a 2600 with the exception of the engine. The 2500 had a Perkins engine.

If you are several states away it wouldn't be practical to go look at the parts tractor.

Just a thought.
