Hi.HAVE A MASSEY I35 WHICH BLOWS OUT OIL WHEN YOU PULL OUT THE DIP STICK.CHECKED THE BREATHER PIPE OUTLET THERE IS NO OIL BLOW THERE,SHOULD THERE BE A LOT OF PRESSURE BLOWING OUT AT THIS PIPE.DOES ANONE KNOW WHATS WRONG?TRACTOR IS VERY EASY TO START AND IS RUNNING WELL WITH NO BLACK SMOKE COMING OUT THE EXAUST.WHAT WOULD MIGHT HAPPEN IF I JUST LEFT IT AS IT IS?

If the breather's not restricted, I think your tractor is just telling you that there is plenty of lubricating oil moving around at that part of the engine and if you take the cap off when it's running, you might get sprayed.

Dan, some blowby is normal so you have something restricting it and I suspect its just as Farrview says. Clean out your blowby tube and see if that doesn't do the job..

sounds like the breather pipe has plugged up over the years with crud. Try running a piece of fence wire up it to clean

If it is running when you pull out the dip stick any tractor will blow out oil. Only check the oil level when the tractor is not running. If this is not the case excuse me ,I am back to lurking.
