How can I tell the difference between an f-20 cane and an f-30 cane. no tags on ether of the group of three that i am looking at.

If I remember correctlllyl, F-20 has the beltpulley PTO shift lever coming out the left side of the transmission. F-30 has the beltpulley PTO lever coming out on the right top of the transmission near main shift.

the F20 will have a smoooth surface inside the center of the hub where the rear wheel bolts on.the F-30 will have h large threaded nut in the center of the wheel to hold the hub on

An F-20 gas tank from the rear will appear somewhat squarish (all sides, top, sides and bottom) about the same length. An F-30 definitely has longer sides than has top or bottom. More like an upright rectangle from the rear. An F-30 will have a water pump too.
