Does anyone out there know how much a John Deere 430 tractor weighs? It's a two cyl.
Thanks,
Ferg

Which model, options, fuel type and tire sizes? We are assuming this is a 1959/1960 Dubuque two cylinder farm tractor and not the 430 garden tractor from the 1980/1990's?

When the man started his post with "Weight of 1959 John Deere 430" I surely assumed that he meant the Dubuque built two cylinder farm tractor and not the 430 L&G that wasn't built until the mid 80's!

I think the key work was 1959!

You are correct, I missed the year in the title and only read the actual post. I have seen people with 1961 JD model 110 garden tractors.

The 430 W and 430 U with 3 point, fenders, lights, live pto, 5 speed, power steering, all fluid levels normal, and standard wheels will weigh in at 3800 to 4000 pounds with no fluid in the rear tires or weights.

The 430 has about 29 drawbar hp.
