As if all of this zero and below weather isn't bad enough, now I recieve an invitation to join AARP. Think I'll go back to bed and pull the covers over my head.

It's funny what age does to you. Today I stopped by our local Ford dealer...and I found the pickups more interesting to look at than the new GT that was sitting on the showroom floor, and priced at $185,000.00!!!!! !!!!

I'm only 63, good friend of mine is 75 and very active. He told me when He was 50 everything worked fine, at 60 He could see further than He could run, at 70 He said His feet smell, and His nose runs, at 75 He said,"Iain't buying any more green bannanas"

I'm behind you rusty by quite a few years and a world away from your tractor knowledge, but the aches and pains...I'm think I might be right there with ya.

football=bad knee, wrist/thumb, baseball=bad shoulder and elbow,

I really hate the quick pressure changes but I do love Nebraska even though its cold and I get pretty sore when weather starts to set in. Age 32 with bones poppin.

Hey Rusty
My dad who lived to be 92, he always said old age is he)), but better then the alternative. So far time has proved him right, although a few times I been wondering..

Delbertt, considering the alternative, I guess getting older ain't such a bad thing. I just wish it didn't have to hurt so much.

Hey Rusty, ever since I turned 50 I begin havin some new aches and pains pretty regular. I have learned by now to take them (and Tylenol) as they come till I git used to em and know I ain't gonna die just because I feel like a truck run over me after a days labor.

I remember the first time the girl at Burger King gave me a senior discount without askin my age. That was a eye opener!

Stay warm,

Rex

Why Rusty ye young whippersnapper, I've been a member since I was fifty-0 and you can get discounts at motels sometimes, which the first time I used mine it more'n paid my yearly fee.Goin' on 66 so I'm adjusted by now.But if ye must, go on back to bed. This kinda weather I'd take a good stiff drink first though. Don

I originally chose the RustyFarmall handle because it reflected the overall condition of my tractors, but now the rusty part has more to do with my knees and shoulders. My tractors are improving with age, why can't I do the same?

I've about discovered the old saying is right. If its not hurting its not working.

Heck, when I was your age I woke with only one stiff bone. Now when I wake up they are all stiff but one …
