Congrats! My first grandson, by son and d-in-law #1, was born in March. Just got word last night that son and d-in-law #2 are in a family way, with birth "scheduled" for my birthday, August 16. This is kinda fun. The other fun family thing is my 2 sons, daughter, and I are practicing some barbershop quartet stuff- and we ain't too bad, if I do say so myself! I sing lead (melody), sons are baritone and bass, and daughter sings tenor. Lots of fun to sing with your kids, especially when they're good at it. . .

None of my kids will get married so I got no grandkids. Most of my friends my age do. I'm just grateful my kids still have the values that prevent them from giving me grandkids before giving me in-laws!

Congratulations Old. How would like 17 grand children and 2 great grand children. Now that will make you old, but I love every one of them and enjoy them when ever I see them. Just don`t try to keep up with them. Boyd

Congratulations. Nothing like grand kids. I have 6. One boy and 5 girls. Out of the 6 are 2 sets of twins. One set is boy and girl, 3 years old and the other is both identical girls who will be 6 months old on Christmas eve. Both sets are from my youngest daughter and her husband.

Congratulations Old. But heck you shouldn"t consider yourself old with Grandkids. Its when you get great grand kids that you are truly old, like me.

Well congradulations old. Heck, gettin old ain't so bad but feelin that way is.

Guess grandpa's are supposed to be old anyway, just don't have to act like it! Sometimes I think I am 18 and I also am twice a grandpa.

Just think of the all the joy they will give you. And once your tired of all that joy, you can send them home with their parents!
