One more thing: Before the end of WWII, all of the ships damaged by the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor, except three, had been repaired and returned to service. Shows what Americans can do when determined and dedicated.

Yes, we Americans are a funny people. I have a daughter that lives and works in Honolulu and has visited Pearl Harbor, she says it is a very sobering experience.

There is a website, Authentic History, that has music of the era. Politically incorrect now, but it reflected the feelings of that time.

Too bad we didn't catch on to Japan's feelings towards us after the December 1937 aerial bombing, and sinking of the USS Panay and the 2 Standard Oil tankers on the Yangtze River.

Check out the history link below...

Good reminder to all to pray for our sons. I am sending my son back out on Friday to finish his duty aboard the USS Essex. About a year and a half left is all. His sister came home this summer and her husband just this past Oct and next week my nephew is due back home. Getting tired of the Gov't taking all my "kids" over there, but proud as he!! of them all.
