Friend of mine in the well and backhoe business had his shop burn down 1:00 this morning. He arrived at 1:15 soon enough to roll out JD B,AC WD, MTA, and 77 Oliver all restored in attached building. They did not get out the MD and D21 out of shop part. D21 looks to be OK MD not so good. Fire may have started in newer pickup parked in shop. He said I can replace the pickup and is glad he got out the tractors and no one was hurt. Over twenty fire trucks form area were there

My ABS light came on, went to garage and they had to replace the beast causing all the problems. It sets on the front of the brake master cylinder and has juice going to it all the time. It only cost $18.00 for my Ford Ranger, so I would replace if I owned a Ford P/U

Our town barn a couple of years ago had a fire, too, almost burned down but we caught it in time, and the fire started in a Ford pickup. Something about Fords and fire, seems that every so often they have problems with their vehicles catching fire and have a recall. They would have a decent truck if they would use a real Diesel(Cummins)instead of the powerjoke. oh well, at least the powerjoke is better than the GM durapuke.

Ford presently has a recall going on most of the later modle ford Pickups with cruise control (except Rangers) for fire problems caused by the sensor unit mounted on the front of the brake master cylinder. If you opwn one and haven't received a notice on it, you might take your serial number to a dealer for them to check it.

All of the departments in county have what they call "mutual aid" they all help each other on the big fires.
