I was at my friends shop today and somebody gave him a Fulton Steam Whilstle , model- A 2 1/2. It has four sound pipes and a little throttle control lever alongside the cast iron body which operates what appears to be a throttle plate inside. He didn't give it too much thought but somewhere here at YT I remember reading some posts that these whistles are pretty valuable and collectable. Can anyone fill me in on anything about these things and maybe an idea as to their value?

I have been looking at ebay for about a year now looking for the right exhaust whistle for my tractor. 1931 Case CINT. They seem to fetch $75 - $300.

Fulton made a line of exhaust whistles that sound similar to what you are describing. These were used as a novelty item on early automobiles. In nice condition they bring up to $50 or so.
On the other hand, if it is a true steam engine whistle, value would go up to $100+ around here.

It is probably an exhaust whistle or horn. They can be pretty desireable. I'd like to find one for my "Threshing Tractor" Check out E-bay. I have seen them on thee.
