I looked at a nice industrial Ford 545 with a loader and pto and 3pth but I can't find much info about them. Does anyone out there have an opinion about them good or bad? Thanks in advance.

JE,
I am going to purchase a 1982 545 Industrial tractor and loader. What size engine is in yours? The dealer told me 52hp, but I can't find any specs on this model. Looks like a very rugged tractor!

Joe I just saw your reply 2 months later. Thanks and sorry I did not get back to you. I actually traded the Ford for a smaller tractor. I can"t stand a cab on a tractor! But my friend is looking for info on the 545 if you have had luck finding any. He is looking for a manual if you have one you want to photocopy for cash. Hope you like your Ford. Jeff

My dad has a 1990 545C he bought new to replace one that burnt in a fire. Good rugged, heavily abused tractor. Have had some minor troubles with the shuttle shifter but othe than that is has been good. Just remember you won't have the ground clearence of a farm tractor...Jim

Thanks- Low ground clearance is a good thing for me here as I have steep hills that need hogging. By the way, I decided to buy it this morning and sell my Ford 640. Thanks
