I would like to know what a old allis lawn tractor is going for,I think its a 68 or 70 and I think it said the model was a B-210,4 speed with a variable speed of some kind, and a mower deck,it a yellow color with all the sheet metal strait, runs good.

Steve I picked up a B-10 last year for $250.00
that needed carb work.and now I have a very nice yard tractor that is strong as a mule. the B-10 is the older version of the B-210 which I also have. It was given to me. What it has is a 3-speed gear box that drives a variable shiv trans
like the clutch setup on a snowmobile but you increase and decrease speed with a lever giving a wide range of ground speeds. only prob is the shiv bushings wear out after years of use. Simplicity is the company that manufactured these tractors and parts are still available if you can figure out what the equivalent simplicity model was, both were identicle, just different model numbers. Do a search for "simple tractors.com" they have extensive information on Allis Chalmers, and Simplicity yard and garden equipment.
Whatever you do don't do what I did, which was to remove the shiv setup and just make it direct drive to the trans-axle. which is fine if you get the proper pully ratio. if you don't get the ratio right you can get too much power to the trans=axle and break the wheel drive axle like I did, now I'm looking for a trans-axle. for a B-210. Anyone have one that they want to part with?
