I know this is not exactly the place for this but I am not the world's most computer literate person. Fact is I wouldn't be here on this forum if a friend hadn't helped me set up a year or so ago. My provider got bought out and I either have to sign with new one or go somewhere else. They will forward my mail until Dec. I liked my old one, paid month to month, with no contract. My question is: will I have to reregister at all my web sites like this one and ebay, etc. because my email address changed?? If so, is doing this complicated?

Aloha, To make any changes to your ebay email address, click on "My Ebay" and enter your ebay user ID and password. On the next screen on the left hand side, click on "personal information" under "my account" and on the next screen, you will be able to change your email address.

Mahalo,

I just hope your ISP wasn't bought by Earthlink (or, as I call them, Earthstink), like mine was.

Dealing with them is worse than dealing with the Federal government. That is, if you can find somebody there who speaks english :(

Did you see where the UN now wants control of the internet? Seems some countries don't appreciate the freedom of information it allows their people.. when deciding on what kind of tractor to buy.

If you are buying or selling on eBay you will want to give them the new address. If you are just looking it does not matter. Here at ytmag you do not have to give your email at all. Most websites do not care where you are and you can access them anytime anywhere. Think of it like tuning in a radio station.

Aloha, As far as your email address is concerned you would have to go to each site and change your email address. All the one's that I have come across if you have to register, will have an edit your profile. Just log in there and make your address change and another thing, usually your new isp provider will set you up or help you to setup.

I don't consider this question at all off topic. True, it has nothing to do with tractors, but if you don't have internet service then you couldn't come on here and talk about old tractors. O.K., on to the question. If your e-mail address changes, yes, you will have to somewhat re-register, or at least inform them that your addres has changed. It's not really complicated, but finding the place on e-bay so you can do it is the hard part.

Yeah, EBay! I changed from Prodigy (YAHOO) to Cable Internet two years ago, but, because my "PASSPORT" was stuck on my old E-mail address, and for some nearly infathomable reason, without being able to access my old, original, EMAIL address I cannot seem to find a way to inform EBAY of my new address, I have been locked out of EBAY for two years. It's been THEIR LOSS, however and not mine. If I EVER find a way on EBAY to reaccess the ability to Bid, buy and sell, I may go back, but they do not make it easy. It seems to be the one FAQ that they steadfastly refuse to address!
