Fuel is leaking at back of head on drivers side.
Cannot see a fuel line or filter there. Dropped from 20 mpg to 13 mpg. Any one have any ideas as to where the leak is coming from.
Thanks, Richard

Also on the back of the head there is a fuel drain for the heads. It is a round plug with a square 1/4 inch hole for a ratchet. You cannot hardly see these plugs but they are on the backside near the fire wall. There is one on each head. They have o-rings on them. It is not likely that they have failed but it is possible. If it is leaking here I would suspect a loose one, especially if someone has done injector work recently. Let us know what you find.

In the valley between the two heads sits a fuel pump (back near turbo). They have be known to leak and run down the back of the engine. Check the banjo bolt which holds the fuel line to the pump. O-ring may have failed or bolt came loose causing your leak.If the valley of the block is wet with fuel thats probably were your leak is. Good luck with it.
