Ok...here goes.
Friend called Sunday night. Said he had an old tractor from his dad's estate...did I want it. If not it's going to scrap.
Well, I ask how much. He said nothing...if I did not want it...it's junk.
I told him ok, but let's look it over before he sends it to China. Last night while I was at work he used my gooseneck to haul it over.
He called me about 10:30 and said he had set it in the field by the shed on the trailer. He could not unload it by himself...and it was all mine.
I went over this AM to look at what was what.
There set my trailer with the winch cable all balled up in a mess and a crawler setting on the trailer. No blade, no bucket...just the tractor.
I crawled up on it and it seems to be all there. It has Oliver on it so I suppose that is what it is. It as a faded HG on the hood. It has a 4 cylinder gas engine that looks complete except for the carb. I used an old crank and the engine is free.
Dad had a few old Olivers years ago but they were Super 55 and Super 77 models. I never paid a lot of attention to them as my wants were all red and the other green.
So, what do I have and is it worth keeping? I have little use for a crawler...not a lot to do with it.

Any tractor is worth keeping if it keeps it from going to China. Stan

Well they are neat little machines and a lot of fun. Shoot if you don't want it I'll take it. I already have an HG and an OC-3. I know I sure could use some parts for my HG since some one put the wrong engine in it and I've been tring to get one put in to it. And yes its worth fixing up by the way parts are a little hard to come by but not that bad.

How many HP are they? It looks really small. Guess I will see if I can get it running when I have time. Will keep you in mind if I decide to get rid of it...I will not junk it.

HP is around 23 give or take a little. Does it have a PTO on it?? If it does it makes a good little tractor for brush hogging, never a flat tire LOL. They made loaders and dozer blades for them also. Both the ones I have have loaders on them.
