Hi everyone,
I went and visited my tractor at the shop yesterday - and I heard and saw the engine on my MF 135 turn over for the first time since August of 1993 when it last worked. It was a beautiful sound even without the muffler installed, but it was awesome. I wanted to say a sincere thank you to the guys who offered their opinons and encouragment when I found out the block had been welded up the wazzou to the point where the cylinder sleeves didn't seal correctly. I ended up swallowing the cost of the replacement bare block but according to my mother the tractor is mine. There is the younger kid in me that has reawakened to some happy memories of sitting on my dad's lap harrowing the fields and sitting on top of the bush-hog (the PTO wasn't engaged) to go pick apples from the trees that grow wild alongside our fields. It is my hope and desire that my kids will get to experience the same thing, though probably not on the farm on which I have grown up on, but on my own farm.
Again, thank you all very much - for those of you who show at the Pataskala, OH Power Show, I hope to have it there in a new coat of paint.

I think it will be back on our farm in early november, a hard earned early birthday present!

Christos

Now the only regrets that you will have are that you didn`t do this sooner. Congratulations and your Dad would be proud as well as thankful. Nothing like having something that your Dad spent a lot of time working on and around.
