I have a large grapple which should fit on a backhoe or excavator; if interested e-mail back. Thanks in advance, Ross

I do some logging here on our farm and occasionally help an equipment dealer with sales. I don't know of a grapple that fits on a backhoe. Northern has grapples avaiable to fit skid loaders and three point hitches on tractors. Grapples are in rather short supply right now ...all are headed South to clean up after Katrina.

what you need is a "thumb" my friend loaded my flat bed with more logs than it should have handled, in less than 30 minutes using one on his . if i ever bought a backhole this would be a have too thing . your local heavy equipment trading post should have a few for sale in it .
good luck lance

I use a "Thumb" attachment on mine to lift logs. Handy for rocks and stumps too.
